UX/UI Design Contributions at Consenz
Consenz International
2022

Duration: August 2022 – March 2023

Consenz develops a retrofittable Head-up Display (HUD) system for road safety. The HUD features an AI driver assistant, Enzo, which manages navigation, calls and messages hands-free while drivers keep their eyes on the road.

As a UX/UI Designer at Consenz, I developed interfaces for advanced driver assistance systems. My work focused on the usability and safety of Head-up Display (HUD) systems, reducing driver distraction and interaction costs.

Key Project: Enzo HUD

Objective
To optimise driver interaction with navigation and communication features while minimising driver distraction.

Responsibilities:

Design Process - User-Centred Approach
  1. User Research: Conducted interviews and surveys to document user behaviour and preferences.
  2. Prototyping: Developed wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma for early-stage testing.
  3. Usability Testing: Facilitated multiple test cycles, iterating on designs based on user feedback improve task efficiency.
Solutions and Results

To balance information delivery against cognitive load, I conducted heuristic evaluations to identify usability issues during development. I refined the HUD interface in successive iterations, reducing cognitive load while essential information remained available.

Key Achievements
Conclusion

My work at Consenz strengthened my UX/UI practice within the automotive industry. I integrated user feedback into designs at each stage and treated driver safety as the primary design constraint.
